So I read Twilight in 2 days.
It was the best book I have read in a long time.
Granted, it was the only book I’ve read in a long time, but it was
still FANTASTIC. It even had me biting my nails at certain parts!
My reading “style” sucks. I always read a sentence or two and then I skip ahead to the next page and read a sentence or two and then I go back to where I left off originally. I always ruin it for myself. Hahaha. Oh well.
So I’m apparently getting a B&N gift card for a late Christmas present, and I will admit I was a bit disappointed when I found out, only because I haven’t read a book for fun since.. the last HP book? It’s been a while. So I didn’t know what I would do with it- I hate buying movies/cd’s there, they’re always over priced. But now I know exactly what I’ll get! The next installments in this series!
I SERIOUSLY COULDN’T PUT IT DOWN!!
I even read in the car, on the way to Disneyland! I am obsessed now
(for the time being). I want to see the movie now too, only I don’t
like going to the theaters so I’m going to just watch it online. haha
I’ll find it =)
These past few days have been great. Or well, they’ve been better than sitting at home watching tv or working. But I enjoyed Disneyland a lot, and California Adventure even more. I haven’t been to DLand since I was like 10? and never to CA Adventure, so it was all kind of new to me. But we had a kind of system that worked out really well and we got to go on all the rides we REALLY wanted to go on.
THANK GOD FOR FASTPASSES!! Seriously- saved us soooooo much time.
The only semi-bummers were that we didnt stay for the fireworks either day and I didn’t buy anything other than food. No Cinderella stuff, no disney nothing- although there was a store on the CA side “Off the Page” which was full of stuff I would’ve LOVED to buy, but everything there was expensive- and rightly so. It wasn’t the usual stuffed animals and t shirts.
Pismo has been great, so far. Unfortunately, we took a detour down Hollywood Blvd. and Sunset for Rachel- she wanted to see everything down there, and that took a lot of time. It confirmed my dislike of LA (def. not going to live there-EVER) but driving through Beverly Hills, we saw the old guy from The Holiday out getting his mail!! hahaha So we ended up getting here as the sun was almost gone- which made for a beautiful sunset (we’re right on the ocean), but we didn’t get to do anything here today. For tomorrow, they’re talking about going bicycling, which would be ok I guess, I just really want to go home. I miss my dog.
I’m really excited for New Year’s though! and the night after with Guilnor& friends =) and then Friday I have work..
As usual I have taken a bajillion photos, so you will be seeing those shortly.
Ok, all done!
